Your ego is firmly established in you during your formative years, and you are considered socialised by the time you reach the age of 21, when you are declared an adult. In ancient times a noble lad would be knighted at the age of 21. During the first seven years the focus of the ego is on the establishment of its physical identity, the next seven years its sexual identity is established and during the age of 14 to 21 years the social identity of your ego is established.

Central to the insights of Sigmund Freud was the idea that your personality consists of autonomous agents that act on your behalf. That you are not one, but many. These agents can be called the personas of the ego.
Carl Jung, who worked closely with Freud, after studying many ancient texts, came up with twelve archetypes for personality who derive from the collective unconscious. He proposed that these archetypes direct conscious behaviour. Unfortunately his classification of archetypes eluded subsequent systematic study and were regarded as unfathomable. The truth is that in the west, these archetypes can be trailed back to the astrology of the Sumerian period, 3rd millennium BC, in Egypt and in the east the archetypes were taught as far back as the age of Gemini, 5th millennium BC.

Ego refers to itself as “I”. It is the person at the center of your world that experiences itself and life from a subjective perspective. The root of the ego is “mine”, it is your ego that is identified with your body, gender, race, nationality, talents, thoughts and emotions. Your family is your ego’s family. When you say “I”, you are referring to your subjective identity, with a given name. These aspects of ourselves are gained from conditioning to what society requires. Discover your True Self through the understanding of the Individual Self and how they sabotage you from being your true authentic being.
DISCOVER YOUR TRUE SELF
The Perennial Truth understanding can be applied directly to the personas of the ego. All the thoughts in your mind, and the feelings in your heart belong to these personas of the ego. You can call them spiritual agents. And each one has a unique role which corresponds with a particular archetype. There are 12 in all. Some are more dominant in you than others. You can take the assessment test to discover your predominant archetypes and their compositions to understand why you think the way you do and feel the way you do. The construct of your ego is multi dimensional and the True Personality Profile maps out your conscious and unconscious ego-self.
CREATE BALANCE, ONENESS AND HARMONY FROM WITHIN
There are 6 pairs of archetypes. Each archetype has a partner, that stands in opposition to it. Jester opposes Planner. Ruler opposes lover and so on. When one loses, its partner gains. It is Ruler that falls in love and order is only re-established when the love affair ends. The result of your test will illustrate the distribution of your archetypes from both a conscious and unconscious perspective.
